On the 31st of May Polish public broadcaster Telewizja Polska (TVP) has launched high definition versions of TVP 1 and TVP 2.
- HD is the highest quality, highest precision of video and audio - said Juliusz Braun, director of the TVP.
TVP has launched two HD channels
Telewizja Polska has finally launched its two flagship channels in HD.
TVP is the only broadcaster in Poland, which offers a nationwide terrestrial broadcast programs in high definition. During the UEFA European Football Championship all matches will be shown on these channels in HD.
Channels are also available in the offer of satellite DTH providers and cable operators.
