|Financial results of HELLAS SAT in 2011|
|The total proceeds of HELLAS SAT for the use of 2011 totaled 32.8 million, an increase of 8.9% compared to the year 2010.
Earnings before interest, taxes, and amortization (EBITDA) amounted to 23.4 million at the end of 2011 versus 21.4 million the previous year 2010, an increase of 8.4%.
The Company's net profit rose by 17.4% against last year's usage and amounted to 11.3 million.
The satellite Hellas Sat 2 (39°E), reaching 96% capacity, serves over 100 customers in 30 countries in Europe, Middle East and South Africa. Already 3 million households have their antennae turned to him and follow the subscription digital TV platforms in Romania, Bulgaria and Serbia. In addition, the Company provides satellite internet services to more than 1,500 subscribers in Greece and abroad and significantly increased for 2011 revenue from terrestrial teleport facilities owned by who is in Cyprus.
